“Enthusiasm is the sparkle in your eyes, the swing in your gait” – Henry Ford. From the man who said, “Whether you think you can, or think you can’t – you’re right” That ties right in with enthusiasm. Believing in yourself. Having the will to do. The sheer gumption to start a project is the first step. If you don’t make that leap, well, you’re probably treading water.
Enthusiasm is infectious – in a good way!
I find that enthusiasm is infectious. It spreads like wildfire. Good leaders are enthusiastic individuals. They motivate, invigorate and create energy that can be seen and felt. Henry Ford added this about enthusiasm: “The grip of your hand, the irresistible surge of will and energy to execute your ideas.”
Being around enthusiastic people
I enjoy being around enthusiastic people. I like the energy rush I get. Regarding enthusiasm, we can wait to find an enthusiastic person to draw energy from OR we can be that enthusiastic person. It is all a matter of perspective. Listen to some invigorating music, do some morning stretches and a little exercise – or do a lot of exercise! It will get you energized. You will start feeling enthusiasm right at the start of the day.
Bender loves to spread enthusiasm
I stretch out, drink a little coffee, take Bender for a walk, listen to music and look at my photos. That gets me pretty pumped for the day! I find it is easier to tackle the day’s activities with a enthusiastic outlook. And just the simple matter of accomplishment, generates more enthusiasm! See how this works? Enthusiasm builds on itself. Before you know it, you will be the enthusiastic person everyone will look forward to being with. Your energy will be a source for enthusiasm in others. It is just another way of giving back.
Today is your day to shine!
Imagine, accomplishing projects you never thought possible. Maybe it’s cleaning the shop, or the house, or baking a batch of cookies. Go into life with an enthusiastic spirit and you will be unstoppable! Overcome adversity and trials. Forge ahead! Today is YOUR day to shine. Shine that enthusiastic shine.
Go ahead. Take on a new project today. Start a project that has been nagging at you. Finish a project you started. Just get ‘er done! Your reward for doing so will be to feel amazing!
My enthusiasm to write blog posts comes from you. I hope you find the posts enjoyable. They are pretty random but that is how my mind works. I catch an idea for a blog post and run with it!
